The Exam-Time Annihilation

Exam time, folks!

It has been a month and a half since the beginning of a new semester and the colleges feel that it is important to check what we've learned so far. Most of them have scheduled their mid-sem exams in this week or the next. The fun is over, or rather postponed to a further date.

The people who go to classes tell me that a lot of course has been covered and some topics are really difficult. It surely feels like the perfect recipe to dismantle the ground beneath us. The syllabus may be a rock difficult to break, but we've got an enemy of much greater power than good ol' syllabus. People, welcome "Time". Big bad time has always tricked the students. During big boring lectures, it appears as if time is moving at a snail's pace. Wish it acted in the same way before the exams. However, being our sworn enemy, time moves as fast as The Flash during the Exam period. Many will agree. Atleast 30 minutes fly past you before a single page can be completely read. The odds are always against us.

Our major weapon that we have in our hands is the "Last night study". Incredible to believe, but this is the time which decides most of our grades. The ammo for this weapon is provided by a well known beverage, Coffee. The magical powers of Coffee induces insomnia in a person till the time he or she requires it. Since we need to survive the whole night, along with the next day, without surrendering to the lust to sleep, Coffee is a must. Though it maybe our major weapon, Time tries to manipulates our Last night study by equaling the speed of light. Time doesn't wait for anyone, I guess.

Darwin's theory of "Survival Of The Fittest" is definitely applicable to Exams. It states that,

"Only those who are fit enough to cover 80% of the course during the night before the exam, with Time working against them, will survive the exams with CGPA higher than 7. Others are annihilated."

This statement's validity is proved by millions of students around the globe. I wouldn't like to go against ol' Darwin, would I?

One has faced so many exams till now that some of the fear is conquered. Ranging from the "chillar" Weekly Tests to the high ranged Competitive exams, we've seen everything. Semester exams come somewhere between these two extremes. This is Mid-sem exams, not compres! Why did I even write so much heading into something which is so close to the "chillar" Weekly tests?? Some say these shape up how your end-sem CGPA will look. Well, that's kinda true. Truth is tough on the ears.

So after all the shit I've written, knowing that my exams are 3 days away and I should be studying, I wanted to say "Best of Luck" to all who're having their exams. As the great Joker said in "The Dark Knight",

Okay, he didn't actually say that, but you get the point, right? Don't forget to enjoy and party hard once exams are over! Adios amigos!
