Learning on the Way

Hello Everyone!!

Nice to be back blogging. It's been a long time, 2 and a half years i think. That was the time when our parents used to say "Study hard in these 2 years, get into college then you'll enjoy all your life." It was supposed to allegedly provide us with a boost, so that we study hard. Honestly speaking, I've heard better lies!

Lot has changed while I was away from blogging. I finished my schooling days (those 2 years I say), joined a  premier brand and constantly growing college of the nation, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, got my favourite branch and even SURVIVED a semester. I feel it was an important and a successful transition (till now) of my life. Things are getting boring I guess!

Well I'll be talking about random topics. One that crosses my mind right know is, well, studies (late night stroke, sorry guys). Studies are (allegedly) important part of one's life. Our colleges take a heck lot of money out of our parents' pockets to "teach" us. Hell tuition fees is 70k here in BITS. Truth be told, that's a crazy bit of money for the one thing we don't do nowadays.

The first semester of college was such a learning experience. I mean, from making friends, complaining like baboons about mess food, to being witness to various events and the first technical fest, it was awesome. I might say studies are a thorn really to an almost perfect life on campus. From extensive physical work (Read : Going up a 90 degree slope and a hundred thousand steps to the college that too to try to study) to literally "Keh ke lena" in exams, we almost lost faith in studying for anything. This semester is NO good.

Can anybody explain why Biology is taught to engineering guys who got nothing to do with it? Okay, even after the lengthy first chapter we have which tries to answer the above question or the continuous grunting of the Bio lecturer, my common sense still doesn't get it! Don't want anyone to explain to me either, won't help. After all, "Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di, to uske baad to main khudki bhi nhi sunta" :p

Alright that was lame, studies apart, there were much other things to learn, somethings that cannot be taught but must be felt and experienced, which was covered from life's syllabus in the last semester. We've all set out on firm ways to be what we want to be. It is the path that leads us to fulfill out dream, and we keep on Learning on the Way.
